The Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) is a fellowship of churches related to the mainstream of the modern ecumenical movement, the same that gave birth to the World Council of Churches and other regional councils throughout the world.
The Fellowship of the Middle East Evangelical Churches is an association of the Evangelical (Protestant) churches of the Middle East which believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and in Jesus Christ as Lord, Saviour and the one head of the church.
